Did you really think I’d stop at one? After visiting the Book of Kells, we walked from Trinity College over to the north side of St. Stephen’s Green, where there is a fairly new museum called The Little Museum of Dublin. It is located in an 18th century Georgian townhouse and chronicles the history of Dublin in the 20th century. All of the objects on exhibit have been donated or are on loan from the people of Dublin.
On the third floor, there is a special exhibit entitled U2: Made in Dublin. It is an entire room dedicated to U2 memorabilia (some items are on loan from friends of mine!) Curiously, I own many, if not all of the books that are on display. (shocker!) But, there are many objects on display that would make even a casual U2 fan smile.
