The show was billed as An Evening with Pearl Jam which meant there was no support band, it would be three hours of live Pearl Jam. We had general admission standing tickets and found spots toward the back of the floor. We moved around a couple times during the show, staying just off to the side for much of the gig. Incredible night, fabulous setlist, some rarities and first time songs for us. The band was in great spirits, everyone was all smiles, it was one of the best Pearl Jam shows we’ve ever attended, definitely in our top three.
When it finally ended 3 hours and 20 minutes later, we slowly made our way toward the exits and spotted The Rob. The Rob is somewhat of a celebrity in the Pearl Jam world, he works for Sirius XM Pearl Jam radio and attends every show. After each gig, he talks to fans about the show, interviewing them and broadcasting their comments on Sirius XM. We’d already had an amazing evening and now we were being interviewed by The Rob on Pearl Jam radio. Unfortunately, we never did hear our interview since we stayed in Europe for a few more days and didn’t listen to satellite radio.
