Dawn and Kevin

LDS > MAN > DUB

After breakfast in the club room at the Marriott, we went back to our room, got our stuff together and walked over to the train station.  We could have flown back to Dublin from Leeds, but there were only two flights that day, one at 6:00 a.m., the other at 8:00 p.m., neither of which was appealing to us.  Instead, we took a one hour train ride to Manchester, from where we would take an Aer Lingus flight in the early afternoon. The flight to Dublin was only 55 minutes long and we were able to see the Isle of Man as we flew over the Irish Sea.  Most of the passengers on the flight were Irish or Brits, and the line for those with EU passports was very long whereas we breezed right through immigration without any wait. Since we’d arrived at Dublin airport just two weeks before, we knew precisely where to go to catch our bus to city centre.  This time, we were staying at the Westin, right next to Trinity College and Grafton Street… it was great to be back!
