The drive to Dingle…

After a very leisurely and delicious breakfast at Brook Lane, as well as a nice conversation with Una, we packed up the car and were ready to leave Kenmare at about 11a.m.  The drive to Dingle takes just under 2 hours, but took us slightly longer since we chose to pull over at points during the drive.  This was the first day of less than perfect weather, it was drizzling and there was a great deal of fog over the mountains.  These conditions did not adversely affect our drive and we were pulling in to Dingle shortly after 1p.m.

Here are a few photos and videos we took on the journey, some of which were once again shot on the Ring of Kerry in Killarney National Park on our way to the Dingle Peninsula.

As we got closer to Dingle, the rain started coming down a bit harder.  It wasn’t terrible, just more of an annoyance.  Here we are driving into the village getting ready to find the guesthouse we would be staying at for the next two nights.
