Once we had decided that we were definitely visiting Ireland, we knew that the Cliffs of Moher was on our must-see list.  After a gorgeous, yet very long drive, we finally made our way to Liscannor, where the Cliffs are located. They stretch 5 miles along the west coast of Ireland, located on the southwestern region of the Burren and range from 390 feet to 702 feet above the Atlantic Ocean.  To say the views are breathtaking from atop them is truly an understatement.  We were incredibly fortunate that the weather was so favorable – as expected, it was quite windy up there yet the sun was out in full force making our visit that much more spectacular.

As a Harry Potter nerd, I was thrilled to visit the location of Voldemort’s Cave, where he hid one of his horcruxes. There are some places on earth that are more beautiful than mere words or photographs can convey; this is one of them.
