Dawn & Kevin
Both of us are die hard music fans who love going to gigs. The Leeds show on July 8 will be our 30th Pearl Jam show in 11 years. As a fan of U2 since the early 80′s, the draw of Dublin has always been intense for me. Both Kevin and I are fascinated with the history of Ireland, and we cannot wait to see the places about which we’ve both read a great deal.
We’ve always talked about a trip to Ireland but never seemed to get around to actually planning it. We’re celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year and considered the possibility of a quick jaunt to the Caribbean to mark it, but when we both won the Pearl Jam ticket lottery, we realized that the time to make that trip to Ireland is now.
At this point, we have our flights to and from Dublin booked, hotels and B&B’s reserved for each night of our stay, but still have so much preparation to do before we leave at the end of June. We need to firm up our itinerary, book a rental car, arrange for travel to and from England, make train reservations and do so much more to get ready for what should be an incredible adventure.
